Room 127 is The Best of The Bunch! 

 

 

Today is the first day of Kindergarten, Welcome! We are going to have a great first day and are going to focus on settling into school. The students will start their day by coloring a "Welcome to Kindergarten" worksheet. We will then head to our reading rug and learn eachother's names by singing the song, "We're So Glad You're Here!" Afterwards, we will read the story "Pete the Cat loves his school shoes" and talk about how we feel on our first day of Kindergarten! (ie., nevervous, excited, happy, ect.,) After our read aloud, we will make our "Hip, Hip, Hooray I had a fun first day of Kindergarten" crowns to wear home. We will then take a bathroom break and discuss bathroom rules and procedures; for example, washing our hands, no playing in the bathroom, waiting quietly in line, ect. After our bathroom break, we will head outside to play for a few minutes on our new playground! We will then head back inside and start working on our "Look How Much I've grown!" Book which outlines many Kindergarten Firsts such as writing our name, writing our ABCs, and drawing a self-portrait. Ms. Devers will hang on to these books until the end of the school year where we will complete this activity again and see how much we have grown! At the end of the day Ms. Devers will teach the children how to pack up at the end of the day!  Remember our blue "take home folers" need to be checked every night and returned to Ms. Devers the next day! :) We will finish our day with reading the story "The Night Before Kindergarten"

Welcome back to Kindergarten! AM Kindergarten has music and gym today! We will start our day with our welome to Kindergarten morning work.Today we will take a tour of the school and practice walking quietly in line in the hallways. Ms. Devers will focus on school rules today and introduce our color chart for classroom management. (Green= Great Day! Yellow= I had 1 warning to improve behavior Orange= I had two warnings to improve behavior Red= I had 3 warnings to improve behavior and a note/phone call will be sent to parents. Remember the chart is flexibile so just because the child moves to yellow or orange doesn't mean they can't end their day on green if their behavior improves! :) Every Friday, the students will take home their Red behavior folder, which outlines how their behavior was for each week. We will read the story "Kindergarten" and dive into our Phonics curriculum, Jolly Phonics, and work on writing the Letter S for Snake. We will also do a writing activity where the students have to build their first and last names by practicing writing and spelling it. We will also start rotating centers today which will focus on our weekly sight words: See, I and A. You will receive a ziploc bag of sight words that will need to be practiced every night at home. We will build to the vocabulary bag every week with new words to practice to help your child's fluency and vocabulary grow! We will end the day with reading the story "This School Year Will Be the Best!"

PM Kindergarten has gym and music today! We will start our day with "practice raising your hand" morning work. We will read the story "Chica Chica Boom Boom" and practice singing the alphabet. We will then make our own Chica Trees to hang on display for the school to see in the hallway! We will practice our next Jolly Phonics letter A for Ant as well as start our Handwritting Without Tears Curriculum and practice the letter F. Today we will get to visit our new playground and play outside at recess! We will start math today and make a class graph for how we get home from school (ie., car, bus, ride a bike, or walk). We will discuss the properties of a graph and watch the brainpop jr. video on graphing. We will end the day with reading the story "How Will I Get to School This Year?"

AM Kindergarten have Art today! We will start our day by doing our morning work "To Get ready for Kindergarten, I..." We will then head to the carpet and read the book "Chrysanthemum" and discuss how we are all special in our own unique way! We will then do an art project where we will do rainbow name mosaic writing! We will also work on Handwriting without Tears and practice the letter E. We will then take a break and play outside on our new playground. Afterwards, we will do our rotating centers which focuses on our weekly sight words: See, I and A. We will do "Bippity, Boppity, Bumblebee" where we identify, clap, and count the number of syllables in our names for math today. We will complete the day by reading the story "Froggy goes to school!"

AM Kindergarten has Library today. PM Kindergarten has Art and Library today. Remember we will check out books every Friday in library and you must return your borrowed book back to school before library the following Friday in order to check out a new book! Today we will start our day with identifying our colors morning work. We will then head to the carpet and work on our Jolly Phonics letter T as well as our Handwritting without Tears Letter D. We will also read the book "Max Goes to the Library" and discuss library expectations before attending. We will do a pocket chart with "Cheerleader Names" where we spell everyone's name in class. We will also identify letter names and sounds by comparing and contasting who has which letter in their names (for example, does your name have the letter B in it? Yes or no?) We will end the day by reading the story "How to Make a Friend".  Remember our red behavior folders go home today and will need to be returned on Monday as well as the blue take home folder. As a reminder there is no school on Monday, September 5th, due to Labor Day. Thank you for your help in making our first week a sucess!

Welcome Back! I hope you enjoyed your long weekend! AM Kindergarten has music and gym today! Today we are starting our reading curriculum School Wide. I will introduce the curriculum by exposing the students to the literature that we will read in the first unit. We will talk about features of a text and introduce our first nonfiction story, "Apple". We will learn how to turn and talk with a partner which Ms. Devers will refer to as "EEKK" Elbow, Elbow, Knee, Knee. Throughout the week we will also be building on our sight words from last week (I, A, See) and learn our new sight words (The, To, And). I encourage you to be practicing these sight words every week with your child at home to help build fluency when reading. We will learn the Jolly Phonics letter I today; don't forget to complete your Jolly Phonics homework every night that your child brings home the letter page!  We will also be learning about the importance of Labor Day today in Social Studies!

PM KIndergarten has gym and music today! Today we will work on our handwriting without tears curriculum and practice the letter D. We will also continue Jolly Phonics and learn the letter sound for P. We will create a Birthday graph for math and analyize the graph (which month has the most? which month has the least? How many more does December have then November, ect.,) We will work on Poetry today and start our poetry folders! Our poems this week review our sight words (I, A, See, The, To, And). Our Poetry Folders will stay at school and go home as a poetry portfolio at the end of the school year. We will also do a rotating center today which focuses on sight word activites, independent reading time, and phonics-based apps on the ipads!

AM Kindergarten has art today! Today we will jump into school wide and read the story "The Itsy Bitsy Spider". We will learn the difference between a letter and a word and practice identifying both. Afterwards, we will make an "Itsy Bitsy" art craft! Today we will work on handwriting without tears and learn how to write the letter P. Don't forget to bring back your library book by tomorrow in order to check out a new book on Friday! I am really looking forward to seeing all of my "Apple-Solutely" Amazing parents tonight at open house! The kindergarten team will be reviewing kindergarten policies and procedures as well as explaining our curriculum and expectations for the school year!

Happy Friday! AM Kindergarten has Library today. PM Kindergarten has art and library today! Remember, you had to have broughten back your library book by today in order to check out a new library book. If you forgot, you will have to wait until next Friday to check out a new book when we return to library. Today be will be learning the Jolly Phonics letter N. We will also be completing a caterpilar counting activity for math which is an introduction to "making 10". Today we will spend time learning about the importance of "Whole Body Listening" for social-emotional learning. We will read a whole-body-listening story and complete a self-portrait that identifies my ears, eyes, feet, hands, and mouth are listening. Welcome Back Kindergarten Friends! I hope everyone remembered to sign their red behavior folder and bring it back to school. Remember, we will take it home every week on Friday and return it to school on Monday. Today there are no specials in kindergarten. We will be working on our sight words this week which are: it, my, like. Please continue practicing your sight words every week with your child at home. Today in Jolly Phonics we will be practicing the letter sound C/K for castanets. In our schoolwide curriculum we will continue working on "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" and practicing "point and sweep" when reading a word or sentence. We will follow up our read aloud with a word tile activity. The students will have to make a sentence and draw a picture that matches what the sentence says. In math today the students will watch a brainpop jr. video on shapes and explore pattern block shapes. We will also work on our poetry books and highlight sight words that are in our poems for this week.

AM Kindergarten has music and gym today! Today in schoolwide we will be working on learning and sharing who they are as readers. We will read the story "Excuse me this is my book" and discuss genres of books. The students will identify their favorite books during a turn and talk and will take home a survey where they will identify their favorite books. In handwriting without tears today, the students will practice the letter B. In math today, the students will be identifying teen numbers 11-19 and working on a base 10 counting activity. The students will also spend time writing in their September Journal books today. We will end our day with our literacy-based center time.

PM Kindergarten has gym and music today! Today in schoolwide we will be working on reading a poem called "Catch the Moon" we will act out the poem together using hand motions as a class. Today in Jolly Phonics we will be working on the letter E for egg. In math today, we will continue working on identifying teen numbers and we will complete a "making teens" activity together. We will also watch a short clip from "Harry Kindergarten" identifying teen numbers. We will also work on sight-word practice including building and spelling our sight words. Lastly, we will spend a few minutes playing on our new playground today!

AM Kindergarten has art today! Today in schoolwide we will be exploring books! We will read the story "WIld about Books!" and identify the difference between nonfiction and fiction books. In handwriting without tears we will practice writing the letter R. We will do an art project today for math on our friend "Zero the Hero!" We will make a zero the hero page every week until the 100th day of school and we will make a zero the hero book. I will send the books home later in the school year when they are completed. Today in Zero the Hero, we are making our number 10 friend! We will end our day with our literacy-based center time. Don't forget to return your library books in order to check out new books tomorrow!

AM Kindergarten has library today! PM Kindergarten has art and library today! Remember, your child must have retured their books in order to check out new ones today. Today we will be starting our social-emotional curriculum second step. We will be working on learning to listen and meet our puppet friend Puppy! Puppy will teach us how to be a good listener and learner. Today in Jolly Phonics we are working on the letter H for hopping! In math today, we will be working on sequencing numbers in the correct order. We will complete a math activity where the students have to identify the missing number for example, 11, _, 13. We will also be journaling our behavior reports for the week identifying how the students were safe, respectful, and responsible. Don't forget to sign their behavior folders and return them back to school on Monday! Have a wonderful weekend!

Welcome Back Kindergarten Friends! This week we will be reviewing all of the sight words we have visited thus far, including: I, A, the, and, my, to, it, like. I am encouraging the students to use their high-frequency words to build a simple sentence especially in journal writing, for example, "I like to____ (play). Today, in jolly phonics, we are meeting the letter R. In math today, we are identifying the number 1 and practicing writing it in our handwriting without tears journal. We will complete a social emotional lesson today that continues to indentify whole body listening with our puppet friend Puppy! In library on Friday we learned about growing squash. Ms. Devers thought it would be fun today to walk outside to visit Ivy Hill's garden to learn about growing squash ourselves!

We will also do centers today that focus on literacy and identifying our sight words. The students will also revist their practice writing my name test and if they write their first and last name perfectly they will not need to continue writing in their name book for homework each week.

The students will also have time today to write simple sentences in their September jounal.

In handwriting without tears today, the students will identify and practice writing the letter M. The students will also have time today to do self-selected text independent reading.

Practice helps you get better on focusing your attention. We will demonstrate this skill by playing an attention practice game. In math our number of the day is the number 6! We will also complete our second zero the hero page today by doing a craft on the number 20! We will identify the number 6 and practice writing it. We will also highlight our weekly sightwods in our poetry folders today.

PM Kindergarten has centers today. Don't forget to dress nice for the pictures and bring your completed form and fee if you want to purchase pictures! Today in schoolwide we will focus on choosing a just right book. We will discuss it's important to look at the cover, predict what might be inside, and think would this book interest me. We will also discuss it's important to pick a book that's not too easy, not too hard, but just right! In handwriting without tears, we will practice writing the letter H. In math, our number of the day is the number 7. We will practice identifying and writing the number 7. We will also write in our september writing journals today.

Welcome Back to school! Today AM Kindergarten has centers. Today in Jolly Phonics we will focus on the letter L. We will also practice the letter L in our handwriting without tears jounals  We will continue building on our sight words and our new sight words for this week are me, go. Today in second step, we will focus attention on self talk: talking to yourself out loud in a quiet voice or inside your head. Self talk helps you focus and maintain attention. We will demonstrate this skill by practicing in a drawing game. In math today we will introduce the concept compare and contrast! We will watch the brain pop jr. video on comparing numbers and read the comparing numbers story "It's A Snap!" We will also highlight our weekly sightwods in our poetry folders today. I will also have a substitute teacher today in my classroom from 11:00-12:00 today as I have a meeting to attend in the building.

They will practice this concept using the "alligator symbols" today. The student's will also be working in writer's workshop today where they will have an opportunity to write freely and express their thoughts and ideas through writing and illustrating.

Students will recommend books to their partners by retelling the main events and information and elaborating on the interesting parts of books they have read and enjoyed. In handwriting without tears today, we are working on practicing writing the letter V. In math we will continue exploring the concept greater than, less than, and equal to. In grammar today, we will practice writing simple sentences using capital letters, finger spaces, and punctuation at the end of the sentence. We will also be writing in our behavior folders and identifying how we were responsible, safe, and respectful. Lastly, we learn about Columbus Day today and decorate our own explorer ships! Remember that there is no school tomorrow due to school wide professional development and there is no school on Monday due to Columbus Day. I hope everyone has a wonderful fall break!

Today AM Kindergarten has centers. Today in Jolly Phonics we will focus on the letter sound ai. Today in second step, we will focus attention on being assertive. Being assertive in communication is the best way to ask for help. We will demonstrate this skill by practicing responding to scenarios assertively. In math today we will work on our Zero the Hero journals and practice the number 30 for 30 days of school! In school wide today, the students will learn to distinguish realistic fiction from fantasy by noticing details in a story. Students will discuss, define, and distinguish between elements of fiction stories that are realistic or fantasy. The students will start the science curriculum in depth today and we will read the story, "What is a scientist?" and discuss how we can all be scientists in our lives and in the world.

Today in schoolwide, the students will learn to retell familiar tales by identifying and describing the character, setting, and main events, in sequence. Students will recall and retell a traditional tale using narrative structure and story elements. In handwriting without tears today, we are working on practicing writing the letters W, X, Y. In math we will continue exploring the concept patterning and work on a patterning practice journal. The student's will also be working in writer's workshop today where they will have an opportunity to write freely and express their thoughts and ideas through writing and illustrating.

In schoolwide today, we will focus on studying illustrations closely and thinking about what is happening so students will get a better understanding of the story. Students will read Goldilocks and the Three Bears to examine words and pictures that are used to move stories along and develop character and plot. In jolly phonics we will focus on identifying the letter J. In science today, the students will learn about mixing colors to create new colors. We will explore this concept in a variety of methods including: paint, playdoh, bubbles, and light. In grammar today, we will practice writing simple sentences using capital letters, finger spaces, and punctuation at the end of the sentence. We will also be writing in our behavior folders and identifying how we were responsible, safe, and respectful. PM Kindergarten has centers today. Today in schoolwide we will focus on noticing the elements of fiction by noticing when characters encounter a problem and work toward a solution to the problem. The students will be able to listen for and identify the antagonist in a traditional tale, as well as the conflict and solution or resolution in that tale. In handwriting without tears, we will practice writing the letters Q and Z. In math, we will continue exploring shapes and we will use shapes to make a shape scarecrow. We will also continue writing in our October journals today!

In math, the students will continue exploring shapes. The student's will also be working in writer's workshop today where they will have an opportunity to write freely and express their thoughts and ideas through writing and illustrating. The students will also have a hearing and vision screening today!

Today in schoolwide, the students will notice the similarities and differences in books by comparing and contrasting two stories that are alike. Students will revisit two traditional tales to identify and discuss how the characteristics are similar and different. We will also continue working on Read to Self in Schoolwide and the students will practice building reading stamina and revisiting strategies that help us read to self. In handwriting without tears today, we are working on practicing writing the letters O and C. In math we will continue exploring the concept two dimensional shapes.

Welcome Back to school! Today AM Kindergarten has centers. Today in Jolly Phonics we will focus on the sound Z. We will continue building on our sight words and our new sight word for this week is little. Today in second step, we will focus attention on identifying other people's feelings. Students who accurately identify emotions tend to be less aggressive and more accepted by peers and have better social skills. We will demonstrate this skill by practicing identifying when someone is comfortable or uncomfortable. In math today we will continue practicing identifying two dimensional shapes! We will start our "My Shape Book" in class. We will also highlight our weekly sightwods in our poetry folders today. There will be a substitute teacher today; however, I will be present in the classroom assessing student's for the kindergarten report card screening.

The students will be able to make predictions based on their background knowledge and textual evidence. In handwriting without tears, we will practice writing the letters G and S. In math, we will continue exploring shapes and working on our shape books. We will also continue writing in our October journals today! There will be a substitute teacher in the classroom today for the AM kindergarten class as I will be at a schoolwide professional development meeting in the building.

Today in schoolwide the students will use their knowledge of language structure to anticipate events in a text. Students will recognize how a repeating phrase or language pattern can help them predict the events of a story. Today in jolly phonics the students will learn the sound W. In math, the students will celebrate the 40th day of school and complete zero the hero for the number 40! The student's will also be working in writer's workshop today where they will have an opportunity to write freely and express their thoughts and ideas through writing and illustrating.

AM Kindergarten has library today! PM kindergarten has art and library today! Don't forget, you had to have returned your library book to check out a new one! In schoolwide today, we will focus on distinguishing between realistic and fantasy fiction as they make predictions and determine the meaning of illustrations. Students will describe key details in the illustrations and tell a realistic story just like a story teller would from beginning to end. In jolly phonics we will focus on identifying the sound ing. In grammar today, we will practice writing simple sentences using capital letters, finger spaces, and punctuation at the end of the sentence. We will also be writing in our behavior folders and identifying how we were responsible, safe, and respectful. Don't forget, Monday is Halloween! The students should come dressed in costume when they arrive at school. No food or candy will be permitted at school for the celebration.The AM kindergarten will have their own parade around the school followed by the class party; dismissal will be normal time at 11:50. The afternoon kindergarten will attend the school-wide parade at 1:45 followed by a class party at 2:15. The AM class is welcome to return to school at 1:45 for the school-wide parade; however, they will not be permitted to attend the PM class party. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and I can't wait to celebrate with you all on Monday!

Happy Halloween! Make sure to come to school dressed in your costume, we will not be changing at school. Today is a fun-filled day for the kids celebrating Halloween! We will participate in the school-wide parade and enjoy playing games and making crafts at our class parties! I hope everyone has fun trick-or-treating! Welcome Back from Thanksgiving Break! I hope everyone had a fun and relaxing break with your friends and families! Today AM Kindergarten has centers. Today in Jolly Phonics we will focus on the sound oy. We will continue building on our sight words and review all of the words we have learned so far and our new sight words for this week are you, this, me, big, in. Today in second step, we will focus attention on identifying how to be caring, compassionate, and helping. We will demonstrate this skill by learning how to be empathetic of others and how to respond to situations in a caring way. Over the next two weeks, we will be focusing on a gingerbread unit study where we will read many different gingerbread stories and complete literacy, math, science, and social studies activities within the theme. Today we will work on creating a class graph to identify story, characters, refrain, and ending as we read the different versions of The Gingerbread Man. We will also decorate our gingerbread journal covers today. You will be seeing a lot of fun activities on gingerbread men and women coming home over the next two weeks! We will also highlight our weekly sightwods in our poetry folders today.

Over the next week, we will be focusing on a gingerbread unit study where we will read many different gingerbread stories and complete literacy, math, science, and social studies activities within the theme. Today we will build on second step and work on identifying how the gingerbread man and other characters in the stories felt and responded to situations in the books because of their feelings. You will be seeing a lot of fun activities on gingerbread men and women coming home over the next week! Today, we will also visit Mrs. Zingg's class and decorate gingerbread men! We will also highlight our weekly sightwods in our poetry folders today.

Big thanks to everyone for all of your hard work at home reinforcing the letter sounds. Now, we will focus on blending the sounds together to make words and working on word families. We will continue building on our sight words and review all of the words we have learned so far and our new sight words for this week are jump, away, where. Over the next week, we will be focusing on learning about the winter holidays such as.,Hanukkah, Christmas, New Years, and Kwanza and complete literacy, math, science, and social studies activities within the theme. Today we will focus on learning about the holiday Kwanza. You will be seeing a lot of fun activities on the winter holidays coming home over the next week! We will also highlight our weekly sightwods in our poetry folders today. There will be a substitute teacher in the room today; however, I will be the classroom assessing students for guided reading.

Today is the last day of school before winter break and we will be having a holiday party! Please send the students to school in their pajamas and they can bring their favorite stuffed animals and blankets! We will be watching the movie toy story and enjoying our time together to have a fun-filled last day! The PM kindergarten class will also be attending a school assembly to watch the first grade show. Over your winter break, I hope everyone has a fun and relaxing time with your family and friends. Don't forget to work on your winter journals over break, and you will get a chance to share them with the class when you return back to school! Welcome Back! I hope everyone had a fun and relaxing weekend with your family and friends! AM Kindergarten has centers today! Today in schoolwide we will continue our new unit on Nonfiction! We will discuss the concept of using a glossary and practice using one in class.  In math, we will explore using a 100's chart and create our own 100's chart. We will also work on highlighting our new sight words down and help in our poetry folders today! We will continue guiding reading this week during center time. The students will meet with me twice a week and we will read together and discuss features of a  text as well as reading comprehension. We are also starting spelling tests this week! The spelling word list will go home every Monday and the students will take the spelling tests every Friday! You can expect on every spelling list to see jolly phonics sounds, middle sounds, CVC or stretchable words, and challenge words! I will then grade them over the weekend and send the graded tests home to you the following week! Please help your child be successful on their spelling tests by practicing the words daily at home! Our sight words this week are make, two.

The student's will also be working in writer's workshop today where they will have an opportunity to write freely and express their thoughts and ideas through writing and illustrating. We will also learn how to put a list of words into ABC order today. There will be a substitute teacher for AM kindergarten today as I will be out of the building for professional development. We will discuss what the purpose of a heading is and how to use one in a text. We will also continue working on Read to Self in Schoolwide and the students will practice building reading stamina and revisiting strategies that help us read to self. Last week during our read-to-self time, the students borrowed five books from our classroom library to add to their book bag. Remember that even though the students are borrowing these books and taking them home, they will belong to the classroom and need to be treated with care. Welcome Back! I hope everyone had a fun and relaxing weekend with your family and friends! Today we are on a "Monday" Schedule. Today in schoolwide we will continue our new unit on Nonfiction! We will discuss the concept of using captions and practice using them in class.  In math, we will do Zero the Hero for the 80th day of school! We will also work on highlighting our new sight words down and help in our poetry folders today! We will learning about using a Diagram in a nonfiction book and practice using one in class. Today is the 100th Day of School! We are going to have a fun filled day and celebrate zero the hero by wearing our superhero capes! We will be trying 100 snacks and counting by 1s and 10s as we eat them! We will also engage in a writing activity "If I was 100 years old" and create a craft of what we would look like if we were 100 years old. We will also read books, poems, and sing songs about the 100th day. We will make a 100th day of school crown! I am so proud of the kids for how hard they have worked and the progress they made so far this school year, where has the time gone by? :)

AM Kindergarten has gym and music today! This week we will be learning about President's Day and we will focus on the President's that are on the four coins: penny, nickel, dime and quarter. Today we will study George Washington and we will read a biography about his life as well as Identify what we like and learned about him. In math, we will learn about the quarter today! We have finished the handwriting without tears curriculum, you can expect to see the orange journals come home this week! We will continue working on Read to Self and Read to a partner in Schoolwide and the students will practice building reading stamina and revisiting strategies that help us read to self. Today we will also be writing in our March journals. Parent-Teacher conferences will be held tonight and tomorrow afternoon. The conferences are optional in the spring and must be confirmed through the online sign up that Mr. Kaease emailed out. Welcome Back! I hope everyone had a fun filled spring break! AM Kindergarten has centers today! Over the next few weeks, we will be studying habitats. This week we will start with studying the habitat desert. In reading today, we will read the story, "Coyote, Coyote what do you see?" and we will describe the desert habitat.  In math, we will be introduced to 3-dimmensional shapes. We will also work on highlighting our new sight words down and help in our poetry folders today! We will continue guiding reading this week during center time and work on the reading strategy flippy dolphin. We will not have a spelling test this week due to no school on Friday. Our sight words this week are do, did.

Today we will identify ocean animals and write about our favorite ocean animal. In math, we will continue working on exploring measurement and we will measure classroom objects. We will continue our phonics curriculum Word Study and this week we will learn about making words plural. We will also write in our April journals today! We will also take some time to visit the Scholastic Book Fiar at the school today! We will go down to the book fair with a pencil and paper and create a wish list. If you would like to purchase books with your child you can visit the book fair as a family after school on Wednesday from 3:30-8:00!

Today centers will be cancelled as the AM kindergarten class will have a unique opportunity to attend a school assembly of an author visit of Aaron Reynolds who wrote the book "Creepy Carrots!"

Today is field day! We are going to spend our day playing outside and participating in various athletic stations. Please dress appropriately for a fun filled day outside! We will not have a spelling test today due to field day. To clarify due to some email confusion, we will not be eating lunch at school today. As a reminder, on Monday we will be having a movie day and watching Finding Nemo with the other kindergarten classes. Today is the Last Day of Kindergarten! Where has the time gone by? I will be passing out summer break packets today as well as our final report card. I will not have access to my email over the summer so please contact the office with any questions or concerns regarding first grade! I am so proud of all of the students for working so hard this school year. It has been my privilege teaching your students and working with your wonderful families. I hope everyone has a safe and fun summer break and I will miss all of your children's smiling faces very much! I can't wait to see the big first graders in the fall!
